Biography

I am an independent research scientist in nanophotonics with over a decade of expertise spanning the design, simulation, nanofabrication, and optical characterization of advanced photonic devices. My current research lies at the intersection of nanophotonics and artificial intelligence (AI), with a focus on developing ultra-efficient, reconfigurable, and AI-optimized photonic devices for future compact photonics and quantum communication applications using 2D materials technology. Through AI-assisted physics approach, we accelerate the modelling and optimization of complex photonic structures, paving the way for breakthroughs in secure quantum communication networks. Additionally, I am exploring light-matter interactions in emerging 2D materials, aiming to advance high-speed, reconfigurable nanoscale light sources that enhance the potential of integrated optics in quantum information processing and next-generation communication technologies.
